George Amoako expects Kotoko to win NC Special Competition

Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer believes Asante Kotoko are favourites for the Special Competition title, he made it clear to the players that it will be a failure if they don’t clinch the title.

The Porcupines were the only team in Ghana involved in an official competition after football was suspended in the country, and George Amoako believes the experience gives them an upper hand over other teams.

”The target for you is to win the competition which begins on Sunday,” Amoako told the team at the club’s Adako Jachie training ground.

”Ghana football has been inactive for almost ten months and no club has been in any serious competition except Kotoko

”So on paper you must be ahead of every team and be able to beat any opposition you come against. Either than that, people won’t take it kindly with you.”

Asante Kotoko will face Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the Special Competition opener.
