The Confederation of African Football awarded football personalities and teams that were extraordinary in the year 2018 on Tuesday night in Dakar, Senegal.

The atmosphere was exquisite as the award show was graced by past legends including football legend and now President of Liberia George Weah.

Mauritania were crowned the best National team of the year award after qualifying for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations.
