FIFA WWC: Nigeria, Cameroon and South Africa get tough group

The FIFA Womens World Cup finals draw took place on Saturday and Africa’s representatives Nigeria, South Africa and Cameroon were handed tough groups respectively.

Nigeria who won their ninth AFCON few weeks ago in Ghana shares same group with France, Norway and Korea in Group A.

AWCON 2018: Nigeria Super Falcons Beat Cameroon To Reach Finals

South Africa who ere runners-up in the AWCON 2018 were drawn in the same group with Germany, China and Spain in Group B.

Cameroon will face Canada, New Zealand and Netherlands in the Group E.

The competition will take place from June 7 to July 7 in four cities: Paris, Lyon, Nice and Montpellier.

 

Full draw:

Group A: France, Korea, Norway, Nigeria.

Group B: Germany, China, Spain, South Africa.

Group C: Australia, Italy, Brazil, Jamaica.

Group D: England, Scotland, Argentina, Japan.

Group E: Canada, Cameroon, New Zealand, Netherlands.

Group F: United States, Thailand, Chile, Sweden
