CAF CC: Nkana thump Kotoko in Kitwe

Asante Kotoko injury/team news ahead of RTU clash; three players out

Asante Koto suffered a 3-1 defeat in their third CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC in Kitwe, Zambia on Sunday.




Freddy Tshmenga opened the scoring from the penalty spot after the forward was brought down at the edge of the box, Felix Annan had a touch to the effort but couldn’t stop the penalty.

Sogne Yacouba equalized two minutes after the opener through a great free-kick at the edge of the box.

Kelvin Kampamba restored the lead for the home team after a miscommunication in the Kotoko defence.



Ronald Kapamba latched on Walter Bwalya`s cross to head in at the blindside of Felix Annan to double his team’s advantage in the 51st minute of the game.

The porcupines will have the chance to revenge when Nkana FC travel to Kumasi to face them in March 3rd.
