CAF commits to Cameroon for 2019 Cup of Nations

Amaju Pinnick, first vice-president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has provided his full support to Cameroon’s staging of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations national team tournament. Pinnick, chairman of CAF’s Cup of Nations organising committee, visited the country earlier this week to assess the progress being made ahead of the tournament, which is due to be held next summer. Kenya head coach Sebastien Migné has named Tottenham Hotspur’s Victor Wanyama in a 38-man squad that will prepare for a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier against Ghana on September 8th. Ebusua Dwarfs coach Bashir Hayford has been appointed the head trainer of the Black Queens.
