Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan has been recalled to the squad following his omissions from the team in recent times.  He along with club team mate Bernard Mensah are among a few players making their return to the team that will face Sierra Leone in a double header at the Baba Yara Sports stadium and later in Sierra Leone four days later.

There is a debut call up for Asante Kotoko goal keeper Felix Annan who many have been advocating for his inclusion in the squad.

The black stars are set to camp in Kumasi on the 8th October and will then play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 11th October with Sierra Leone Stars in what will be an all important game after they slipped up against Kenya.

For the fixture in Sierra Leone, the team will leave Accra for Freetown early in the morning on Sunday October 14 and face the Sierra Leoneans the following day on October 15th.

Ghana remain top of the group standings because of their superior goal difference as each team has 3 points already.
